BGP Scan-Time and High CPU Utilization

I have 2 3660 routers with 12.1(5)T5 IOS version.

I performed full BGP with 2 ISP's. Now, every 60 seconds, the CPU's routers jump to 50%-60% utilization on BGP Scanner process by "sh proc cpu".

Does anybody know what is this process?

You may be missing next-hop self on your IBGP neighbor statements or your not advertising the EBGP subnets in your IGP. Both result in routes being flushed each time the BGP scan process runs since the next-hop is not reachable. The scan process is basically a houskeeping process to maintain BGP.

Thanks for your quick reply.

If your meaning i'm lose my IGB peers,it seems that those 3660 routers don't lose their IBGP or EBGP either.

Do you think it could be the keepalive timers?

or maybe you have better idea?
