You may be able to rectify the situation by enabling portfast on the ports that connect the PC's. Do not use portfast on any port that connects to another hub or switch. To do this, go into interface config mode on the switch for the port desired and type in

Switch(config-if)#spanning-tree portfast

This also helps rectify other UDP forwarding issues such as DHCP problems.
