I have defined this:

user test1 user-maxlinks 1 passowrd 0 test2

If I've understood the user-maxlinks function , when user test1 makes an ISDN call he only can get 1 channel B , but in my case he gets 2 channels. Why ?

Sounds like a bug, then again maybe you have to turn on local aaa authorization for that to work, what do I know. What version are you running and what does your config look like?

Josh

I'm working with c3640-is-mz.122-4.T.bin. This is my AAA config :

aaa authentication ppp default local

aaa authorization network default local

I work with dialer profiles

Hi,

I think this is a bug. Cisco site says "In multilink environments, each PPP multilink connection is counted as one connection".

Regards

You are alright, with IOS ver c3640-is-mz.122-4.T.bin

user-maxlinks command doesn't run.

With c3640-is-mz.122-7.bin, it runs fine.

Regards
