I was wondering if cisco 1700 series routers support the H.323 protocol. If not which series do.

The 1750, 1751 and 1760 platforms support H323. The 1750, just became end of sale and are trasitioning into 1751:

As long as you have the IP Plus Feature set and 2V or 4V model (which are the DSPs), you should ok.
