Hi all,

Is there another way to check port utilization other than the "Port Utilization" report? I'm trying to find out if the ports have all been in use at any given time.

Thanks!

At this point we don't have anything besides the Port Utilization report. Several folks have asked for something better and Jeff's team is working on a 'Port Usage Report' tool. You can get more information about it at:

It's important to note, though, that the new port usage tools that's mentioned there is only for Unity 3.1(3) and later... this will not work with 2.x systems. The port usage tool on the 2.x page is about as good as it gets I'm afraid. That's all the data we have to work with. It should still tell you if there were periods when no ports were available which is what it sound like you're looking for...

Also with 3.1(3) if at any point all the ports get busy, an event log message can be generated.
