Is it possible to do vpn connections onto the Pix 501(to the inside lan), using the vpn3000 client, when the pix 501 is behind a cisco 827 adsl router and you have just one public IP address on the outside ineterface of the router (given by a the ISP on a french netissimo2 connction). How do i configure the 827 and the Pix 501.

Quily,

You will need another IP address for the PIX501 for this scenario to work..

Isnt it possible to do a static nat of all ports and all addresses from the outside interface (public address) of the 827 to the outside interface (private address) of the pix 501?

Is there another scenario i can use to have the same result with just one public ip address?

Or do i have to wait for Pix firewall version 6.3 wich is supposed to encapsulate ppoe and use a dsl modem?

Thanks.
