TKIP for 340 series bridges????

Is Cisco going to provide TKIP for my 340 series bridges which at the moment are providing 11Mbps (approx 5Mbps throughput), 128bit wep encryption, broadcast ssid turned off. Each bridge uses a different key for transmission. The whole thing is working fine but I am concerned that a dedicated attack on my link could recover the key. What are my options???

Upgrade to IPSec on my routers?

Upgrade to 350 series bridges???

Upgrade to new firmware on my 340 series bridges???

I asked this question on yesterdays seminar, but I was erroneously (I think) told to upgrade to AP11.10T, is this not access point firmware???

Actually, there is an 11.10T1 image for the 340 series access point and according to the release notes http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/wireless/airo_350/accsspts/ap350rn/rn1110t1.htm Temporal Key Integrity Protocol is now supported.

Maybe you did't read my question properly.

The question was 'Is Cisco going to provide TKIP for 340 series bridges', not access points.

You’re right, I don’t see TKIP bridge support at this point. You’d have to check with Cisco on that one to be sure.
