Reset a controller to the factory defaults

Hi,

How do I reset a controller to the factory defaults?

At the config mode I issue a "default interface <interface-name>" and

I could reset the interface to defaults.

I do the same for controller (default controller <controller-name>)

and I get the message "% Cannot remove controllers this way"

Not giving up, I deleted the channel-groups under that and did the same. No

difference in the error I got.

Any magical command to do what I achieved for the interface?

There is no way to do some sort of "reset controller"..You need take the config commands out from the controller, one by one.Once there are no commands, its as good as factory default.

Once the controller is in the router, it works as physical interface and you can't remove the physical interface by typing "no" in front of it..By the way why you want to reset it?...Tejal
