Aironet 350 802.11a upgrade?

Is there, or will there be a firmware upgrade for the 350 model to support 802.11a? Somebody seemed to ask this same question for 340, but I don't know the exact differences between these models.

An upgrade to .11a would require a radio change. Also, the internal throughput of the 350 series AP is only around 20 - 30Mb -- no problem for .11b at 11Mb -- so it would be impractical for Cisco to upgrade the radio in the 350.


Cisco's product offering for .11a is the 1200 series AP.
