I have an issue Cisco's ACS product. It is running on a Sun box(Solaris 5), and we are trying to change the IP address of the box. We can get the Sun box communicating ok(ie ping and telnet work fine), but Radius requests are not being handled. How can we change to a new IP address and allow the ACS product to function correctly, without having to re-install the ACS product.

he IP address needs to be changed in following five areas:

Note that $BASEDIR is the directory where CiscoSecure is installed.

1. $BASEDIR/CSU/libdb.conf

Change the IP_Addr value to the new IP address

2. $BASEDIR/config/CSU.cfg

Change the value for the "STRING config_server_ip_address"

parameter to the new IP address

3. $BASEDIR/ns-home/admserv/ns-admin.conf

Change the value for the Addresses parameter to the new

IP address.

4. $BASEDIR/utils/sql.scripts/radius_init.data

5. $BASEDIR/utils/sql.scripts/radius_drop.data

Do a search for the old IP address and replace it with the new one in both files. These files are not used in production, but you should change these for the sake of

completeness.

Then restart your CSUnix daemon, by going to the

$BASEDIR/csutil do a ./kcs, then ./scs.
