Configuring IPSec with IP Precedence

I configure VoIP through the IPSec tunnel between PIX 520 and the router 7201. The voice User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is marked as precedence 5 when leaving the voice router. Will the PIX keep the precedence for the voice UDP traffic after leaving the Pix?

<p>

The tunnel transform that I set up is: esp-des. It appears that the PIX does not keep the precedence for voice traffic. How do I configure the PIX to do that?

The PIX should keep the IP precedence when tunneling, provided the packets were marked by the network routers. If not, you might be hitting bug CSCdr41431, which is fixed on the 5.2.1 code upwards. You need to run the latest 5.2 code or higher.
