Netmeeting over MPLS

A customer wants to run Microsoft Netmeeting over its MPLS VPN backbone.

One test was successful (distance of the PE routers about 20 miles) the other test from Switzerland to India failed (all PE routers setup equally).

Are there any issues to consider over longer distances?

QOS is your biggest problem when running realtime application

over MPLS VPN. If there is no QOS implemented in the

SP MPLS backbome routers, quality of Netmeeting signalling

and audio cannot be gurateed, as a lot of events would

timeout.

If it works in one drection, there problably is very miniimal or fixed

delay along that path, but same problem would happen if traffic increase along the path without proper QOS in place.
