I have a serial link configured with the bandwidth command at 56kbps. I want to know if the hello interval is 5 seconds or more.

The show ip eigrp neigb shows a Hold Uptime of 15 sec.

The defaullt hello interval is 5 seconds, except for NBMA networks is 60 second. Hello and Holdtime intervals are not the same. Holdtime is the length of time (in seconds) that the Cisco IOS software will wait to hear from the peer before declaring it down. If the peer is using the default hold time, this number will be less than 15. If the peer configures a nondefault hold time, the nondefault hold time will be displayed.
