Is it possible to configure Class Based Weighted Fair Queuing (CBWFQ) on a dialer interface of a Cisco 803 router to give priority to a certain important application ?

You can configure CBWFQ (IOS 12.2(8)T) but the show policy-map interface command counters don't increment at all (I'm using on "priority class and the default class)

You would not see any packet in the queues if there is no

congestion. queues or anytime of queueing mechanism only kicks

in when we have congestion on the wire i.e. Contention for

transmition over the TX media.
