Can't ping WAN interface

I am trying to configure a 1720 router with T1 link. From the 1720 I can ping the other ends LAN and WAN interfaces. From Anywhere else on the network I can only ping the WAN interface. A trace shows it dying at the WAN interface. Only static routes are set on the 1720. It just seems that the router is not routing from LAN to WAN.

From the description think this is the setup:

LAN--1720--T1---CLOUD--T1--REMOTE---LAN

From the 1720 you can ping the remote LAN, but from LAN on 1720 cannot ping REMOTE LAN. Would first take a look at the REMOTE router and make sure you have a route for the 1720 LAN on REMOTE in the direction of the 1720...
