IOS boot image on 7200 problem

aunet

Level 1

I just deleted my old IOS (c7200-boot-mz.120-9.S.bin) and found that the new one (such as 120.10.bin or 120.18s.bin) could not use for my 7200 router.

So, how can I find and download the old boot image? (c7200-boot-mz.120-9.S.bin)

Thank you.

That image is not on CCO anymore but I have published it. for you.

To get this file, please do the following...

1. With a Netscape or Internet Explorer web browser open

the following URL:

http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/specialaccess.cgi

2. At the 'Special Access Code' prompt, enter in PRBXHBHQ

3. Click on the 'Execute' button. This will bring you

to a web page listing your files for pickup.

4. Select each file listed. Each selection will take

you to the Software Download web page; click on any

Site listed to download your file to your local disk.

Thank you very much for your help.

However, in listed file shows c7200-boot-mz.120-9.Sa. Does it same as the one that I want (c7200-boot-mz.120-9.S.bin)?

That image should be the same but I was able to find the exact same version as yours. I have published it again for you. You can retrieve it in the following way:

1. With a Netscape or Internet Explorer web browser open

the following URL:

http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/specialaccess.cgi

2. At the 'Special Access Code' prompt, enter in ITCQLKWG

3. Click on the 'Execute' button. This will bring you

to a web page listing your files for pickup.

4. Select each file listed. Each selection will take

you to the Software Download web page; click on any

Site listed to download your file to your local disk.

Thank you very much for your help again. You make me love this forum.
