Is the CatOS high availability feature available in IOS for Catalyst 6500's?

Not yet, but there are plans. Right now, we support "RPR+", which will give you 20-60 second non-stateful failover time, depending on your h/w configuration.

I asked this same question about 12 months ago and received the same "stock" answer. How about providing the IOS version that this feature is slated to be incorporated. If there are plans to incorporate it, it must be on the product roadmap!

No kidding! I would much rather incur a 3 second outage as opposed to 2 minutes!
