After creating translations to the inside network from the DMZ and applying access lists to the DMZ interface, the hosts on the DMZ can no longer access the outside interface. How can I allow these hosts access to the outside interface?

you need to create a translation dmz-outside

now you have a traslation (nat , nat 0 or static) between inside-dmz

ok, to get outside from dmz, you might create another nat or static statement.
