Transferring a call to voice mail

Hi guys,

I just need to confirm a fact. I remember once reading somewhere on the forum that Unity sometimes does not 'cut through' transferred calls from end-to-end. As such, voice mail actually sees the message as coming from the intermediary instead of the original sender.

This occured very visibly (I'm sure it has been happening for a while, only more subtlely) on my network recently as I just enabled sub to sub messaging. Now when an assistant answers a call on his boss's line and then transfers to voice mail, it seems like the boss sent a message to himself (in Outlook)!!!!!!

Is there a way to fix this? Can anyone send me the link to the original document?
