Adding Level 3 Devices to Campus Manager

Is it possible to manually add devices to the Topology Services map if there is no CDP connection to them ? I am having problems discovering devices behind a firewall which blocks CDP ?

Hello.

Campus Manager uses snmp to collect any info (cdp and ilmi data) from devices.

So if you have a firewall which blocks these protocols CM was unable to communicate with the device.

CampusManager relies on CDP (in ATM networks: ILMI) for discovery. If a firewall blocks CDP you have to add a seed device behind the firewall as new starting point for discovery.
