ip tcp adjust-mss

Hello,

according to some documentation that command is supported on IOS 12.2(4)T. However, I installed version 12.2(5)d in a 2621 router and is not there. I presume it is because the feature set?

How can I relate a command accurately with a feature set and version for this and any other future commands?

The command "ip tcp adjust-mss " is only supported in 12.2(4)T and higher, so the IOS you are currently using will not support the command. The only action besides the command above would be to lower the MTU to 1460 to reduce fragmentation. Usually the release notes of the IOS will tell of any new commands that have been added.
