LMS2.1Bundle - Discovery of loopback interface for Router 7401

The LMS 2.1 bundle have discovered some 7401 routers using Loopback interface IP and others using the sub-interface IP.

Is there any special configuration on the 7401 routers or the LMS2.1 to force it to discover using loopback interfaces?

1. CMF21.IDU.v1-0.win.exe and CM32.IDU.v1-0.win.exe patches have installed to enable discovery of 7401 router.

2. All the 7401 routers have similar configurations.

3. ip rcmd source-interface Loopback0 is configured on all the router to discover the loopback interface.

I think the best way is the use of DNS. This is because some applications use reverse lookup. So you can configure your DNS server to answer with the loopback addresses to any type of request, reverse or not.

Source-interface is only for rcmd from the devices.
