Dear sir :

I want to monitor my WAN serial links , i attached to cisco router 7200 , is there a software working like Network analysis module , i want this software to analyse the traffic per protocols and per layer .

Hi,

You will have to use Ngenius Real time monitor (RTM) and a WAN probe to monitor WAN traffic.

Please refer to the following web sites for more information about RTM and the probes.

RTM is a netscout product and you will have to contact netscout for the probes.

RTM also comes as a part of Cisco Works 2000 bundle but without long term trend reports.

NAM Traffic Analyzer does not monitor WAN links.

You may be able to get some of this information from NetFlow data. Try looking at www.cisco.com/go/netflow for more information.
