Is there any command to get the serial number of the installed modules in an Catalyst 2924M-XL switch ?

Try to session into the module and do a sh ver

You could use SNMP to gather serial numbers:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/477/SNMP/chassis.shtml
(it has a section on the 2900XL).
