How can NT Domain logon script be run after Win2K VPN client connected?

A Win2K using VPN client 3.5 to connect with CVPN3015. This Win2K laptop connect with Internet and then run the VPN client. However, it cannot run the NT logon script automatically as same as it connect to local LAN in the office. Manually type each scripts can work but it is not the objective.

Internet Connection and Cisco VPN Client must be initiated and running prior to logging into Win2K login. Cisco VPN Client allows you to "Enable Start before Login" and also select a 3rd party dial platform or 3rd party application to connect to the internet with.

Enable "Start before Login" forces the Cisco VPN Dialog allows Cisco to startup before the user is allowed to log into a Domain/Workgroup.

Configuring the 3rd party dialer or application allows the Cisco Client to call upon another application to connect the machine to the Internet.

Configuring these settings will enable the machine startup to resemble something like this: Power On > Boot > Windows "CTRL+ALT+DLT" Screen > CTRL+ALT+DEL > Cisco VPN Client Login screen pops up on top of the windows login credential box > Enter Cisco VPN Account Info & Connect > Dials Internet with the pre-set dialer > Continues to Authenticate the VPN User > Cisco VPN Dialog disappears > User left with Windows NT/2K/XP Login

At that point, you can log into the domain, provided DNS & Wins have been passed to the client during VPN Authentication/configuration process.

Thanks for your brief description! By some reason, "Enable Start before Logon" cannot be used. How can I run the logon scripts after the VPN client get connected.

Users should run the VPN connection on demand during their operation and cannot do the logoff/logon Win2K during that time!

What you want cannot be done. Our users suffer the same problem: Create Dial-Up Connection and Establish VPN Tunnel prior to logging into the domain. This is the only way NT/2K/XP is allowed to log into a domain and execute batch files which maps drives, check for antivirus ect...
