Hi Specialists.
since Integrating the ADS inside of a W2k-Domain into a redundant callmanager group plus cti application over tapi is VERY complicated to troubleshoot, i've been wondering if there is some detailed documentation available about all the user/authentication stuff , and which ways it goes.
so for instance :
a) cti-service uses user / pw from <location in registry>, and ask the DataConnection Directory.
b) dcd can be administered with application <xy> by typing in user / pw <zz>
c) dcd then forwards the request to ldap, configured at <location in registry>
d) the ads-plugin uses ......
the reason is : i often have problems with locked accounts / not working tapi-link etc., but i is almost IMPOSSIBLE to debug the whole thing. all i can do is: unlock the accounts, reset ALL passwords and restart the servers.
DETAILED information about all the connections and requirements would be _VERY_ appreciable.
can you help ??
thanks in advance, gerhard

You might try the links below, hopefully they are detailed enough, if not, there are some pretty pictures in them with lots of arrows. :)
