PORT MONITOR over a switch 2900XL adnd 3500XL

I would like to know it's possible to modify the parameters " transmit or receive " with the command " port monitor " with the switchs 2900XL and 3500XL running version 12.0.(5)WC5 ?

I know that is possible with a switch in CatOS with the command " port span ".

No, it is a low end switch with a certain price point.

You will have to do it on the sniffer.

Here is a free sniffer we alway use in the shop. And yes , it works on windows.
