The current IOS for the 2924XL has a bandwidth statement for port configuration. This seems to have no effect on the switch port traffic.
Is there a way to limit the bandwidth on a per port basis?

Sorry, I think you need a layer 3 device for this.

I am trying to do the same thing with no success. Hopefully someone can shed some light on the situation.
Why would they even have that command if it does nothing?
