a vtp domain existed (not security),

if a new switch without Domain name added through Trunk, will the new Switch will be the number of domain?

if a new switch with different domain name is added through Trunk, will the switch learning VTP message each other?

If the new switch is part of different domain, it won't learn anything thru. vtp. you can manually add new vlans... So the vlan database won't be synchronized.

Hi,

AFAIK: if a new switch is connected via a trunk and has no VTP domain configured it should use the first received VTP frame and become a member ot the VTP domain used in this frame.

But I've never tested this feature.
