Monitor printing

Does anyone know of any software or anything with cisco that will allow me to monitor print jobs from clients?? We need to track who is printing from where. Thanks!

You need to be more specific.


What kind of printers. What kind of interfaces. How do they connect to the hosts. W\hat kind of information are you expecting from the monitoring.

You might be better off monitoring through the print server. Microsoft NT / W2K and Novell Netware provide this service. I'm not sure how to do it on Netware. On Windows turn on auditing for the print server. This solution will give you all of the information that you need. Hope this helps.
