CiscoView 5.3 & Windows XP

Our department is utilizing CiscoWorks2000 on a Windows 2000 box. When I access CiscoView 5.3 from my Windows XP Pro workstation the switch GUI appears normally. However, when I attempt to configure a 2950 or 3500 switch, the window appears for Cluster Management Suite appears and then hangs. I have noticed that I am only prompted once for a password where I am prompted twice from the Win2k box.

I have verified the correct Java version and identical browser security, proxy, JVM and options settings compared with the Win2k box. Additionally, I have installed the latest updates for these devices with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Could be due to Java Plug-in conflicts depending on the version running on the XL switches. See if http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/473/59.html helps.
