Hi
i want to connect MPLS VPN customer between two different AS numbers , but i don't want to run BGP between the the two AS ,
my idea is to terminate each VPN at the edge of each AS and then map each of the VPN to an MPLS LSP..is this valid idea..??
and if yes ..how can i make this..??
note: one MPLS is running Cell mode MPLS and the other is running frame mode MPLS..
Thanks

Yes
You can by providing Trunked interface between 2 routers each in a different AS without running BGP between them
And for each customer VPN, u assign a subinterface in its specific VRF
As we discussed yesterday :::::::)))))))))
For the mapping, i am waiting for ur reply::::)))))))))

i just read about the issue and it is totally done by BGP ..thats why i was asking if there is another way to do it , there is a doc that somehow talks about it inter AS VPN crossing a non MPLS VPN core network
Regards
PS: can i have your mail.??
