is it possible to disable IP NAT for DNS PTR queries payload

We use private IP-Addresses in our DMZ to save public IP-Addresses. On the router to the Internet the private adresses are translated into public global addresses by static NAT. Is it possible to stop the NAT for the DNS PTR queries payload.

You could use Static Nat with route maps. The following URL shows the IOS it is supported in and some configuration examples. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122newft/122t/122t4/ftnatrt.htm
