HSSI Line Protocol Issues..

Unanswered Question

Below is a output from the known working router (3600). I don't have a problem with this router but I need this router replaced with a Cisco 6509 Multilayer switch with a HSSI card. The problem I have is when I swap the connections for the 6509 from the 3600, I get line line protocol despite having the exact same config as the 3600. Why doesn't the same config parameters work on the 6509. From my experience I have noticed that line protocol issues usually deal with HArdware and Cabling. I am leading to the right path?

What type PA are you installing in your Catalyst? Can you also put the configuration (interface specific) that you are trying to apply to this PA that is not working?
