I use cisco VPN dialer(3.5.2 Windows 2000 Professional) to connect back to my company VPN server through my clients' LAN's at different locations. At some client locations (mostly Healthcare organizations), I can not send email through Notes but IM/tcp/http/https/retrieving emails and all other functions are okay. If I insist to send email, it will fail and break the VPN connection. At most other clients, I don't have any issue with cisco VPN dialer. My question is, what client LAN firewall settings prevent me to send email through Notes? So I can talk to the clients to change the firewall policy to correct the issue. Is any way I can reconfigure my cisco client to avoid the problem?
