Can I create a PPP multilink bundle between frame-relay and ATM interfaces? I have a spoke site connecting to the HQ using three frame-relay T1s. Those T1s connect to three sub-interfaces on an OC3 ATM interface. The cloud provides FRF.8 translation. This would provide link aggregration and a virtual template interface for addressing, link aggregation, and queuing.
I know that IMA would take care of this, but that isn't really an option as I would need a new interface (expensive) on both ends. Additionally, the services from the provider would need to be changed as well, and ATM costs more more than frame-relay.

Looks like PPP multilink is supported over FR and ATM. You can look at these documents to see if they address your requirement :

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I've already discovered that you cannot place more than one link in a PPP Multilink group for ATM. The feature was only implemented to provide a Layer 3 LFI feature on ATM. Therefore, the PPP Multilink support for ATM to Frame-relay doesn't help me.
