Hello!

I've got IOS version with ipsec features.

I am not using ipsec and don't want to use this features in the near future.

Can I control presence of this processes in

the memory?:

gw0-kiev#show processes

...

Crypto Support

Crypto HW Proc

Crypto ACL

Encrypt Proc

Crypto CA

IPSEC key engine

...

etc.

There are a lot of unused processes!?

How can I delete theirs from the memory?

There are some certain processes imbedded into the IOS operating system. if you are not using any of the Crypto features I would strongly recommend loading a non crypto image. Not only would you lesson unneeded processes but you would limit your exposure to defects that might only reside in the Crypto images. Limiting the size and type image you use is best practice.

Hope this helps you,
