changes on claw-statement on ibm-escon channel

hi to everyone,

today i changed a claw-statemant on my ibm-channel attached router.

(new claw-statements)

but it does not work - i can´t ping the other side (ibm-host).

could it be that to take affect i have to shut/no shut this channel ??????

i use:

microcode CIP flash slot1:cip28-9.bin

System image file is "slot0:rsp-a3jsv-mz.122-7.bin"

please help !

You can try to shut and then enable the interface. Check whether your IP address configurations are correct and check the host IP profile. If both the devices are not on the same nework, check if they have the necessary configurations to reach through a gateway. You can see if the following links help you in anyway :
