I am getting the following when I go into Config management on RME. I try to pull up a config on a device.

PGM_NM=Configuration Archive:6219:TYPE-unassigned message type::Error creating the configlets for /var/adm/CSCOpx/archive/config/523/20030228000607running.cfg file Cat

Probable Cause

PGM_NM=Configuration Archive:6220;Type=unassigned message type::The file is not a valid file.

Be sure that you are stopping and starting the CiscoWorks daemons after making the changes to your archive directory

(/etc/init.d/dmgtd stop,followed by /etc/init.d/dmgtd start)

If you have done this, you can turn on debugging to find out what's going on when you're doing the Config Archive

To do so,edit the following file

/opt/CSCOpx/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/config/archive/config.properties

and set DEBUG_LEVEL to 5.

Then stop and start the Ciscoworks daemons (as per above) and try a report, you will want to look through the following logs:

/var/adm/CSCOpx/log/daemons.log

/opt/CSCOpx/objects/jrun/jsm-cw2000/logs/{stdout.log,stderror.log
