Telxon PTC 960 connection problem

I have problems trying to connect an older Telxon PTC 960 that works fine with Access Point (Aironet old type), but can´t connect to Access Point Cisco 350.

The error is Network timeout.

The terminal connects OK to Lucent 802.11b compliant Acces Point.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

First of all what radio do you have inthe PTC 960SL?

Likely a 4x00 since you connect to a Lucent 802.11b AP.

If it is so, I would have a look in the radio settings of the 350, at the preamble size. For these legacy radio's, the AP needs to support "LONG" preamble.
