How to configure a span port on switch 3524 with two vlans

I am trying to configure span port on 3524 which has two vlans

how should i do that , i need to different span port for diferent vlans or one span port for two vlans.

I think the 3500s can only have one span session active at a time. To create a span session on your 3524, enter the interface desired for the destination (where the sniffer is attached) and do a "port monitor ". can be a physical interface or a whole VLAN. You can only do one source VLAN at a time.

Per http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps637/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00800d9d3d.html#xtocid25 :

"A SPAN port cannot monitor ports in a different VLAN, and a SPAN port must be a static-access port. You can define any number of ports as SPAN ports, and any combination of ports can be monitored."

So it appears that 3500s can have multiple SPAN ports simutaneously.
