If indeed you do mean syslogs, you can configure a syslog automatic action to create a trap based on the syslog information and send that trap to your 3rd party trap receiver.

Take a look at Network Computing Technologies freeware program called "Trap Generator". It is available for download in most OS versions at: http://www.ncomtech.com/download.htm

We have implemented this in our environment and it works quite well to forward syslog messages of your choosing in a trap format to a 3rd party trap reciever such as HP's Network Node Manager.
