It is possible on Switches or Routers supporting "copy run start" or "write mem" to set this command through an snmp set ?
Does anyone know the mib-values ?
Normally I use Netconfig in CW2000 for this. But I thought of an alternative way with snmp.
Thank you.

go here
http://www.netlatency.com/utilities.html
get wrnet for IOS based routers and IOS based switches
get wrtftp for CatOS switches 4000/5000/6000 etc.
only works with windows, but does a great job.

If you look in the lsystem branch of the Cisco MIB you will find the MIB instances that do this. The instance is in the 50s if I remember correctly. If you have Unix or Linux around, you can write a script that can push or pull configs fairly easily if you have the command line snmp tools on your box. I was able to write a dirty one in about an hour and use it as a backup in case CW2k goes belly up.
