I when I apply service-policy on the PVC,
it seems that consumes about 600K at each
one. So I need to upgrade the VIP2-50, but
I don't know if I need to upgrade the SRAM
and DRAM, I just managed to see in "sh contro-
llers vip 6 sh-tech" the free total memory
decreasing, but I don't know if it is related
to SRAM ou DRAM.
Thanks,

SRAM is used for Packet storage and DRAM is used for Processing. and former is fixed. If at all you can upgrade you can upgrade only the DRAM.

Thanks for your answer.
No, I can upgrade SRAM, you can see on this link below.
I've done a test, when I apply QoS (service-policy) at one PVC, it consumes about 600 K from DRAM, but I am wondering how I can calculate the SRAM
consumes.

In my opinion, adding more PVCs should have minimal or nil impact on the SRAM as it is used mainly to transport data as and when it arrives.

I'll use CEF dist (I think that it just consumes DRAM), but I am trying to find some way to estimate if I need or not to upgrade SRAM based the number of interfaces on VIP and its traffic. Certainly, if I have bigger traffic, my SRAM can start decreasing.
