Hello all,
After enabling IGMP on a switch I started to receive some messages. One of them is this one : %MCAST-6-DELGDA
I checked on CCO the meaning of this one and I found out that the reason of this one is a multicast entry being deleted.
I think that such messages may be ignored. Am I right?
Does someone has the same kind of messages?
Best regards.
Rui

Given the explanation in Output Interpreter (which you found yourself):
%MCAST-6-DELGDA (x1): Deleting a GDA [chars] in vlan [dec]
Explanation: This message indicates that a multicast entry in the given
VLAN is being deleted because an IGMP leave from the last host for this
GDA was received.
[chars] is the group destination address and vlan [dec] is the VLAN number.
it's safe to ignore this message.
It just tells you that the last member of a given multicast group left the group.
On the humorous side Output Interpreter, for some absurd reason states that
"Recommended Action: Contact your technical support representative."
which is hardly necessary.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I also don't understand why they mentioned to contact the technical support.
Regards.
