Hi,

I got a cisco pix 525 with me.I have a LAN in the Inside interface and there are people doing various things from inside. Also im not much aware about the logging happening from outside. I dont want this facility in the servers , instead, i want these accesses to get logged to my syslog server. Is this possible. Any help would be of great appreciation for me.

Thanks in advance,

Ramesh

Hi Ramesh,

syslog can be configured for many things & in many ways. Here is the link for the document on it.

As I understand you wanna log of activities peformed by users. So AAA can solve your perpose. Configure accounting & you can have detailed information about who is doing what on the network.
