MSFC2 Upgrade using the new code - boot mode

When i tried to upgrade the existing code to c6msfc2-jsv-mz.122-14.ZA2.bin it went to boot mode. I had to backout to the old one again since it dint do any routing funcitons. Is there any bug in the code or is not compatible with Catalyst 6509 running 7.1(2).

Have you checked that c6msfc20jsv-mz.x.y.z is the only bootable image in the bootflash? Is your BOOT variable set correctly? (sh bootvar)
