MWI problem

Hi:


We have Call Manager version 3.2.2c with OS patch 2000 2.3SPG and Unity version 3.1.6 currently.Recently we have upgraded our Unity from 3.1.3a to 3.1.6 and it works good ,except that there seems to be some problem with MWI.The message waiting indication is not happening for the subscribers.Somebody please advise ,if you ever come over this issue.

Hello -

Just curious - did you upgrade to the latest version of TSP for 3.1(6)? Something else you can check is the MWI ON and MWI OFF extensions in Unity and make sure these are the same in CallManager. You should be able to dial the MWI ON extension at an IP phone and have the MWI indicator turn on.

Yes ,our TSP version is 3.1.6.The above indicated tests and all are going through fine.But now the problem has been solved.On investigation we found that the AVMsgMonitorSvr service is failing to connct to the exchange private mail store. After thorough analysis we found that Log on Account had problems and we changed it to local system account and it is working now.Wondering ,why it happens after the version upgrade.
