IDS Security Monitor no Events in viewer

When I look in my event viewer, nothing is there. The devices were discovered. It's a new install of IDS4.0 and ciscoworks2000. I've got a 4220-E and a 4210 that both show up in the devices tab in Security Monitor. If I select "monitor", "events", then "Launch Event Viewer" with "At Earliest" and "Don't Stop" selected, it comes up empty. I know that one of the devices is working because it's updating the ACL on the router. any help would be appreciated!

Try restarting the event viewer, also check the bug tool kit for any known bugs.

Did you setup a VACL or SPAN?
