Connectivity between Cisco router 2611 and Catalyst 2950 LRE

I have two LAN with 1000 meter cable Category 3 between them.

I use in one side 1 cisco 2611 connect to 1 catalyst 2950 LRE and in other side 1 CPE 585 connect to 1 cisco 2611.

When i make ping from router 2611 in one side or from PC to the other side , ping is not OK.

But when i plug PC directly to the catalyst 2950 LRE and in other side i plug also PC directly to the CPE 585 LRE ping is OK.

Please help !!!!!!!!!

The topology is not very clear from your comments. However from what I understand, ping doesn't work between the routers. this could be due to various reasons such as Intervlan traffic is not being allowed on the links. trunking has to be enabled to move traffic from one vlan to the other. This is a troubleshooting guide which might be of help.
